At the Ohio Sustainable Business Council, part of our work is to spotlight businesses in Ohio and the region that bring prosperity for people in harmony with the environment. One such business is Copia Farm. This family farm located about 25 minutes from Columbus has been an innovator in the regenerative agriculture space for the past 11 years.
The regenerative practices of moving the animals to new pastures, to mimic the way animals live in the natural landscape contributes to production of more nutrient dense foods while sequestering carbon and reducing inputs by utilizing natural ecological services provided by the land.
The production of diverse, wholesome foods near our urban centers in this way is vitally important for the future of agriculture.
We encourage everyone to check out the offerings at Copia Farm.
