Electoral Count Reform Act – Business for Democracy

Both Houses of Congress are now actively considering bipartisan legislation to reform the Electoral Count Act, the 1887 vague law that allowed for opponents of democracy to try to block the certification of the presidential vote and install fake state electors.

The Senate Rules Committee will be holding a bill markup hearing on the bipartisan (10 Republican and 7 Democrat co-sponsors) next week on September 27th.

Business for Democracy is partnering with Business for American in sending a sign-on letter in support of the Senate bill prior to next Wednesday.

If you have not already signed the letter, please consider doing so now.
